A Christmas Buffet
By Renowned Cub Reporter Bob Wilhelm
This past Saturday, 25+ friends and neighbors of John Stilwell were invited to a delicious breakfast buffet at the Paisley Bottom Coffee Shop & Critical Thinking Laboratory. This celebration of friendship, fellowship and Christmas is becoming an annual event over the last few years due to John's generosity and Dean Luff's hospitality. The event culminated, as it has in the past, with John reading a heartwarming letter from Johnny LNU, (Last Name Unknown), to Santa Claus. In the letter, penned the 26th of December, in a year gone by, little Johnny recounts how good he had been this year, at home, in school, and to all of mankind. Johnny recalls what he had asked Santa to bring him before Christmas and what he found on Christmas morning. Little Johnny shared his thoughts and feelings about his gifts and assured Santa that he was looking forward to seeing him next Christmas Eve. As John shared this story with us that morning, the warmth and meaning of Christmas was embraced by all. Thank you John and Dean, for this wonderful experience.
From this Renowned Cub Reporter and my editor/spousal unit, we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. May we do our share to promote Peace throughout the world.
