VILLAGE BOARD MEETING
Wednesday, June 12, 7:30 p.m., in the Library
All are welcome!
Don't forget to fly a flag this Friday - it's Flag Day!

Father's Day this coming Sunday - June 16th

The Mary Katherine Goddard Chapter of the DAR (Omaha), which my sister Mary and I belong to, donated children's books to both the Unadilla and Syracuse Libraries. One of them is about Goddard, an early American publisher and the Baltimore postmaster. She was the second printer to print the Declaration of Independence. Her copy was the first to include the name of the signatories and carries her name at the bottom of the document.

Unadilla Librarians: Peggy Leefers and Sue Saathoff

Barb Wilhelm and Syracuse Librarian Melissa Juilfs

You may have seen the man pedaling and pulling a sleeping trailer, traveling west along Highway #2. His name is Tony Adams and his goal is to ride through all 50 states. He's already been to 38, but sadly, he's been hit 4 times.

Thanks to these folks who helped with the Food Bank delivery last Friday: Bob Wilhelm, Mark Clem, Galen Crawford, Gary Seelhoff, Dale Henke, Mary Wallen, and Linda Liesemeyer. They served 130 people. Because of the July 4th holiday, the Food Bank will be here next month on Monday, July 8th. What a great community we live in!
This heron was seen from the west Nemaha Bridge.

These kids know how to have a pool party!!! Happy Anniversary Jon & Alexis!

Cherries are about ready to pick!
