No results on the Groundhog Open Golf Tournament, but hope to have them soon!
Condolences to John Tipken and family on the passing of his wife Vicky. She will be laid to rest in the Unadilla Cemetery.
Summer has returned with temps in the 90's and Sunday it was over 100!
Bob Wilhelm is turning into a great photographer...He found the end of the rainbow!
So sad to report the fire at the Brandon Schipman home. No reports on damage except the photo below. If you're so inclined, you may leave a donation for the family at Nitty Gritty. Thanks to our Fire Dept. for their quick response, and to all those from surrounding towns who assisted.
We were amazed to see this armadillo dead on the highway just east of Unadilla. We wondered if the species is slowly making its way north, or did it fall off a semi/other vehicle?
We're done canning at the Western Wilhelm Outpost, so what we can't eat of tomatoes, pablano and banana peppers, and onions will go to the "food wagon" at Nitty Gritty for a small donation. If you're between paydays, don't worry about the donation!
Another thing we Nebraskans can be proud of!

COME ON OVER!
This is the way country music started out, with acoustic instruments, before electricity. People sat out on the lawn, on the porch, or in a friend’s house and played their instruments together.
Enjoy the originality of music which is still present in many circles of friends.
