MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

The Food Bank of Lincoln will be at the Park this Friday from 2 - 3 p.m. All are welcome!

Saturday, Bob and I, and Jenn & Scott Hitzemann travelled to Grand Island to attend the 2025 Class "B" All-State Honor Band Concert at Northwest High School. Such an amazing amount of talent broken down into three classes. The Symphonic Band was led by Sandy Murphy; the Wind Ensemble by Lori Falcone; and the Jazz Band by Bob Krueger. Truly gifted students and a most enjoyable afternoon. And a delightful meal at Texas T-Bone Steakhouse! Who could ask for more!

The Unadilla Ballfield is ready for players! (thanks Ed!) We are SO ready for summer!

Just a reminder that the Legion/VFW Post in Syracuse has hospital beds, canes, walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, and other items to borrow for those recuperating. Contact Bob Wilhelm

The oaks pictured are the twin oaks by the house Red Anderson lived in and survived the flood of 1950 (now the home of Tom & Shelly Block.) These trees were planted just after the flood.

Thanks to Ben Fann for allowing a close up of the trunk of this very healthy bur oak. The grandson of the lady living in the house in the 1950's planted this tree and she convinced him to water it every time he visited her. Watering whenever you plant is still a "best practice" today!

Go to OutdoorNebraska.org for Hunting and Trapping Seasons for Big and Small Game, Furbearer, and Waterfowl. They also have information on how to get a fishing license.

Thank you Bryce and Devin Luff for cleaning up and trimming at the Unadilla Cemetery.
