Arbor Day is this Friday, April 25th

Are you planting a tree?

Countryside Bank is sponsoring an Arbor Day celebration all day long this coming Friday. Stop by any location and pick up a tree to plant. They will keep for a week or more if refrigerated. A ceremony will also be held at the Unadilla Park & Arboretum at 4:00 pm. All attendees will receive a free tree!

May is National Bike Month. Get yours out and dust it off!

Friday, 4-24-1925, The Otoe Union:

H. Miller was building Henry Horstman a new garage. "Elmer Graham, Don Stilwell, and James Graham are digging a cellar for Paul Hair." Tecumseh schools and public places were closed die to so many cases of "walking deptheria." John Dean and Alice Morgan were quite sick. Mr. Mannschreck, Hopewell, was building a new barn.
