Saturday, June 21, will be 154 years since our little village was platted and "officially" recognized by the state. Although no celebration has been planned, it's worth mentioning! We've heard rumors of a street dance...more details later!

Continued get well wishes to everyone who's under the weather or recuperating from surgery.

How did you celebrate Father's Day? We had a great meal, prepared by our kids! It was truly yummy!!! (And we won't have to cook for a few days!)

"A number of young folks gave Harvey Taney a surprise party in honor of his 18th birthday." Herman Stoner was driving a new Ford, purchased at the Palmyra Auto Co. Paul Hair reported his new feed store was nearing completion. The Nemaha overflowed its banks, but didn't make it up to Main Street.
