Friday, 7-24-1925, The Otoe Union:
"George Brandt, wife, and little son, left for a trip through Colorado, taking in Yellowstone Park, Pikes Peak, Denver, and other places." O. Higby was buried in the Unadilla cemetery. Mrs. Harry Whistler, former owner of the restaurant, died on a sightseeing trip. Frank Yeigh and family returned home after an extended trip to Indiana.
