What a great bunch of kids! (And some are from Unadilla!!!)
Thank you so much to these volunteers who helped with the Food Bank distribution last Friday: Galen Crawford, Craig Kimbell, Cheryl Scholl, Margaret Wertman, Steve Kroese, Dale Henke, John Fitzgerald, and Bob Wilhelm. 105 families were helped because of your kindness.
The Tallgrass Co Pipeline Company has been in the Unadilla area since before planting season as they were flagging out routes and boundaries for their activities. This photo is of the boring equipment they are using to bore under Highway 2 and the Little Nemaha River on the northwest edge of Unadilla. This has to have been and will continue to be a very expensive project as they move across Nebraska and into Colorado before ending up in Wyoming.

Friday, 8-12-1926, The Otoe Union:
The Village Board members were: H.A. Butt, L.F. Parker, T. Lucas, and K.C. Stoner, Village Clerk. Clarence Rankin, and Malinda Marie Holscher were married. It was reported that the crops around Sterling were "badly burned." George Brandt was helping out at the Stoner & Luff Store.
