NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO
Friday, 10-22-1926, The Otoe Union:
A.E. Bassett and family returned home from a western trip, stating there were many places where there were no crops this year, and the farmers were in pretty bad shape. "Mr. and Mrs. Butler have taken charge of the hotel here." The Hillman Store at Otoe was robbed. Harvey Taney was struck by a car in Lincoln and died a few days later.
