The more things change, the more they stay the same. 100 years ago everyone was complaining about the rain making the country roads impassable. We can get home but we sure bring a lot of mud with us!

The Community Fooundation met at the Village Office on Tuesday, June 9th. The main topic of discussion was the upcoming fundraiser for the cover to be erected over the picnic table area at the park. Also, in 2010, the speaker time for Groundhog Day will be changed to 2:30 in the afternoon. A special edition rifle will once again be raffled off.

Maisie and Madison Hillman spent Saturday night with Grandpa and Grandma Wilhelm. They tried their hand at making dresses for their American Girls dolls - it sure was easier than the ones we tried to make for our Barbie dolls!
