Ken & DeAnn Johnson have been hosting recording artist Wess Adams and his wife Susan, who are from Nashville, TN. Wess has been entertaining at area nursing homes including those at Syracuse, Auburn, and Nebraska City. He's also had concerts at Tecumseh, Weeping Water, and Clatonia.

The landscaping project on Main Street is now complete. Additional thanks to Bob Brandt for his diligence, and to Ron Zieger and Kevin Randall for additional seeding and electrical work. There were lots of good comments on the project over the weekend from visitors.

Bob & Barb Wilhelm spent the weekend visiting the Hitzemann family in Wellman, IA. Scott & Jenn had tickets to the race at Newton on Sunday and Grandpa and Grandma had the whole day to play trucks and cars, dinosaurs, and read their favorite books. Ani helped load the lawnmower and do some grocery shopping. Brody mostly smiled at everyone and everything. A few hours after Wilhelms left for Nebraska, there was a tornado just east of Wellman, and the Hitzemann's made several trips to the basement, since the warning siren went off four times. Thank goodness it missed the town.

Welcome home to Rich & Rita McCormick - we thought maybe they missed the Unadilla turnoff!
