Saturday, April 10, Karen Isaacs and Jeanie Steinkuhler

rode out to Hastings with Harold & Sue Hull of Douglas,

to watch the musical "Guys and Dolls" at the Hastings

High School. Rebecca Bailey of York joined the group there.

Michael Hull, 11th grader, had the leading roll; he is the

son of Jerry & Renae Hull. The production was great and

each participant played their part top-notch. After the

program, Rebecca and Karen went out to Jerry's for supper.

Karen was an overnight guest at Rebecca's. Sunday, April

11th, Rebecca's son, Blake Bailey, was confirmed at the

First United Methodist Church of York. Those attending

were Mike and Hayden Brungardt, grandparents Karen

Isaacs, Unadilla, Harold & Sue Hull, Douglas, and Harold

& Darla Brungardt, Byron, and Todd & Nadine Allen,

Nichole and Trevor, Cortland, Kansas. All went to the

Brungardt-Bailey home for dinner where Denise

Wiedel, Hebron, joined them.

The Otoe County Genealogical Society will host it's 2nd annual

"Walk Through Wyuka" tour at the Wyuka Cemetery in

Nebraska City on May 13th at 7:00 pm.

Wyuka Cemetery historian, Don Hegr, will be the tour

leader and will guide us through the many historical

internments in Nebraska's oldest public cemetery. Don's

tour will cover the history of the cemetery, and will also

showcase numerous graves of Nebraska City's prominent

(and sometimes not so prominent) people that are buried

within the cemetery. If you would like to join us on this

tour, please meet at the maintenance shed inside the cemetery

at 7 pm. There will be someone at the main entrance to guide

you once you arrive, and parking will be on the south side
