Friday, 6-17-1910, The Otoe Union:
Most residents attended the Old Settler's Picnic at Palmyra. Irma
Dean, visiting at the Ellis West farm north of town, fell out of a
tree, breaking one bone in her left arm and splitting the bone in
her right one. Burr men's ball team beat Unadilla soundly.
