The Christian Church Circle met October 14 at the church. Patty
Draeger was the hostess. Rose Marie Brandt, vice-president,
called the meeting to order with 9 members in attendance.
Minutes were read and approved. Jean Lucas, treasurer, gave her
report noting the only transaction for the month was the bill
paid for the new faucets for the kitchen sink. Reatha Neemann
suggested some ideas for aiding needy children and families
during the holiday season. It was reported that Jeanie Pearson
had surgery but no one had heard the outcome. Gene West's
funeral will be held October 15 and a lunch will be served
following. Sandi Kimbell reported the Creamed Chicken
dinner will be held November 7, serving from 11:00 am
to 1:00 pm. The quilt will be finished by then and on display;
tickets can be purchased then also. The traveling basket
was brought by Mary Margaret Clark and won by Patty
