Teresa Liesemeyer, Unadilla, recently visited her son,
Capt. Jason & Lori Berner, Kody, Logan, & Mitchell,
at their new home in Quantico, VA, where Jason is currently
stationed with the U.S. Marine Corp. They also traveled to
Roanoke, VA, where they visited with friends Becky & Rick
Adkins, of Lenoir, TN, whom they lived by in
Munster bei Dieburg, Germany 1974-1976. They hadn't seen
each other since 1976 and spent a lot of time reminiscing.

No, it's not Easter, but we did get some pretty eggs
from Cody & Sam Pester - they're pretty darn yummy, too!
***
Joseph F. Goucher, grandson of Joe Pebley and former
Unadilla resident (he lived where Steve Kroese now lives)
passed away 10-21. Condolences to his family and friends.
***
Fire & Rescue would still like to have some new members.
Call Linda Liesemeyer or Steve Vodicka is you're interested.
***
Tom & Shelly Block recently returned from Chile, where they
visited their daughter Chelsea, who is a student there this
semester. Kylea also made the trip.
***
Happy to report that Larry Larson is home
and doing much better.
***
Several members of the Fisk family attended the Bev Koerner

NEWS FROM 100 YEARS AGO
Friday, 10-28-1910, The Otoe Union:
E.S. Carper was repairing the north end of his shop
(where Post Office is now). Birney Keach and Harry Durbin
were busy putting up telephone poles and lines. Ed Russell
bought the hardware store from William Hall, who was
moving to Minden. Edward Reno, "The King of Magic",
would be at the Syracuse Opera House. "He entertains
but does not 'play tricks' on his audience."
