Thank you to one of our website newsletter subscribers,
Kathleen, who provided this answer to the question I asked last
week: The Feist (not Fist) traces its roots back to the Rat
Terrier. American breeders breed three different varieties:
the Mountain Feist, the Bench-legged Feist, and the
Pencil-tail Feist. For squirrel hunting this dog is
"par excellent".

The Sundowners FCE club reminds us: It's time to get those
letters written to Santa! The Santa mailbox will be located
by the Unadilla Post Office again this year, after Thanksgiving.
Be sure to put your complete name and address on your letters,
so Santa can write to you. The deadline is Friday,
December 10 - Santa hopes to hear from you soon!
