Did you all survive the Fair? For once the weather cooperated. Bob Wilhelm reports that most

people liked playing Bingo in the Fair Center; it was a successful year.

Can you believe Sam T. Remington and Ani Hitzemann are turning 5 already? Sam celebrated

his birthday by going out to eat and a trip to the zoo. Ani celebrated his at a water park with his

cousins. Cake, presents, and lots of balloons - what more could a five-year-old want?

Thank you to Girl Scout Troop #21 for the donation of two cases of cookies to be used for

Veterans and troops overseas. They were presented to me at Linden View as a representative

of American Legion Auxiliary Unit #100. Then a short program was givin on the girl's trip to Georgia.

What a nice bunch of girls and what great leaders they are going to make!
