not a lot, but we appreciate it!

Unadilla's oldest resident, Lenora Kastens, will turn 97

on August 7th. She will celebrate with family at a gathering in

Lincoln. I'm sure she'd love to hear from you!

Several from the area traveled to Slattery Estates near Nehawka

Saturday evening to hear the band "Silver Wings". It was a

beautiful evening for an outdoor concert, even the little rain shower

didn't dampen anyone's spirits.

Don't forget to stop by the Legion/VFW/SAL Bingo Stand

at the Otoe County Fair. It's inside the Fair Center again this year.

Bob Wilhelm has been busy stocking the "prize cupboard". All

proceeds go to the various Youth Programs.

Farewell to Dale & Karen Isaacs, who are now Syracuse residents.

We will miss you!

Bob Wilhelm returned home Friday from spending a week at the

Niobrarra fires. See the photos in last week's newsletter.

Arlin & Ninajean Rohlfs attended the Nebraska Coaches Association

Awards banquet in Lincoln last Saturday evening. Their daughter,

Rochelle (Athletic Director and Assistant Principal at Omaha Marion),

received the NCA Volleyball Career Award, the pinnacle of awards

given for coaching success. Rochelle has had 2 State Championships,

over 600 wins, and has garnered Coach of the Year honors from

the NCA and the Lincoln Journal Star.

Congratulations!
