Friday, 10-18-1912, The Otoe Union:
Henry Leefers was hauling lumber for a new barn. Mrs. Kelly moved
to Fairfield, NE. "Messrs. Luff, Rorabeck, and Nash shipped a car of
sheep to Omaha." John Alexander was demolishing the old
stockyards and would build new ones. O.J. Miesbach moved to
Lincoln. Dr. E.C. Williams would replace Dr. Farwell. The
Unadilla Shipping Association was formed, buying the scales and
stockyards owned by C.A. Jackson.

HARMONICA WORKSHOP, IN THE OLD AVOCA, NEBRASKA SCHOOLHOUSE
David Seay, Master Artist with the Nebraska Arts Council, will be presenting a Harmonica Workshop on Sunday, November 11, at 2:30 PM in the Old Avoca, Nebraska Schoolhouse. Each paid admission includes a free harmonica for those 6 years old or older. The workshop will include an introduction to the 10 hole diatonic harmonica in the key of C Major.
The concert will be downstairs in The Old Avoca Schoolhouse, and followed by light refreshments, and a jam session with the performers. Avoca is in southern Cass County, Nebraska, on the 13 C Spur, one mile south of Highway 34. Admission is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and senior citizens, and $1.00 for children and students. Seating is limited.
