Santa's mailbox is in place by the Post Office for letters to

Santa. Children, be sure to include your complete name and

address on your letter and put the letter into the mailbox

before Monday, December 17th. Santa needs them in time to

write letters back to you.

There will be a special library board meeting on Thursday,

December 6, at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Agenda items include

book additions, book processing, work days, and library space

arrangement and shelving needs. Special guests will be Darin and

Shane Ziemann and will be honoring their parents with the gift of

their extensive personal library.

Friday, 12-6-1912, The Otoe Union:

Mrs. L.D. Finigan and daughter, Marie, spent Sunday in Lincoln with

the families of V.N. Roush and Wm. Strand. "Our coal dealers have

received over 100 tons of hard coal". Land in the Alfred H. Wallen

estate sale in North Russell averaged over $100 per acre, the total

being $66,200. George Brandt entered business school

in Lincoln.
