Friday, May 17, Barb Wilhelm and Mary Hanke set off in search of
great-grandmother Boardman's family. We finally found Pattonsburg,
Missouri, after 3 1/2 hours, and up and down many hills. We were told that
the town used to flood easily, so in 1998 they moved it (some one should
really inform Mapquest about this!) up the hill to higher ground. We
visited a few cemeteries, didn't find the one person we wanted to,
but discovered her maiden name. Then we went to Hiawatha,
Kansas, to the beautiful Davis memorial at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Keep your drinking water safe #3: Check drain lines
(refrigerator drink dispensers, water softeners, heat exchangers,
etc.) to be sure there is an adequate air gap between the drain
line and the floor drain or sewer line into which they discharge.

Congratulations to Ron & Mary Ann Wenninghoff who will celebrate
their 60th wedding anniversary on 5-23-2013.
