Congratulations to Bob & Barb Brandt on the birth of a new
grandson, Jack William Pavelka, born Friday, November 1.
Everyone is home and doing fine.
You can honor your family's veterans by taking photos, records,
equipment, uniforms, etc. to the Fair Center this Saturday,
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to be displayed at the
Parade of Veterans.
Please remember to fly your flag on 11-11

Get well wishes to Bryce Luff.
We hope you will be home soon.

From Peggy Leefers: Long winter evenings may mean a little
more reading time for some and new books for November are:
"Sycamore Road" by John Grisham, "Where the River Ends"
and "Maggie", both by Charles Martin. Come by any
weekday morning to the Village Office and the Library
will be opened up for you. We have many quilting, cook books,
craft books, holiday decorating, poetry, Western, Native
American, and Nebraska authors books.
Stop in and check them out!

There were so many fundraisers over the weekend. The Christian
Church creamed chicken dinner was well attended. The food was
great as usual! Nancy Liesemeyer, Unadilla, won the
cross-stitched quilt.
