NOTICE OF MEETING

REGULAR MEETING

UNADILLA VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of Unadilla, Nebraska, will meet in a publicly convened session on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at 7:30 p.m. at the Village Library, 770 G Street, Unadilla, Nebraska. The agenda of subjects to be considered at said meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the Village Office.

 

1.    Utility Building at 575 E Street

2.    Budget Workshop

3.    Current Salaries

4.    Water, Sewer & Garbage Rates

 

Except for items of an emergency nature, the agenda shall not be enlarged later than twenty-four hours before the scheduled commencement of the meeting. Any persons needing special accommodations should contact the Village Office at least five days prior to the meeting date.

Continued get well wishes to Cindy Bassinger,

Roland Rodaway, and Arlin Rohlfs.

A reminder that the burn pit facility is only for trees and

tree trimmings, or raw lumber. NO furniture, leaves, yard waste,

painted lumber, dry wall, or bags of garbage. Please

dispose of these items properly. If the state finds these

items in the burn pit we would be in violation of our

permit and the site would be shut down. That would be a

big loss to the town as well as the residents. If you're not

sure, please call the village office.

There are a lot of new residents around town.

It's good to see all the houses occupied.

Thank you for all the phone calls last week wondering

why there wasn't any Unadilla news in the Syracuse

paper. Yes, I am continuing to write the news but it is

the editors choice whether it will be published or not.

I have been informed that they will no longer print

birthdays and anniversaries, but we will continue them

here on the website.

Friday, 8-7-1914, The Otoe Union:

Twins were born to George Riege. A daughter was born

to John C. Miller. "Governor Morehead addressed the

people of Unadilla Monday on the street at 3:30. His talk

was received and he had a good crowd."
