Here's hoping all your family makes it home for
Thanksgiving safely - have a wonderful holiday! The day
after, of course, signals the start of the Christmas shopping
frenzy. Please remember to patronize local businesses
on Saturday, November 29.
Would the person who checked out the copy of
"Hunger Games" from our library please return it?
Thanks in advance.

In reading the old news, there was a short, terse, item
about the "autoes from the east" going through town
headed to the Nebraska football game. That's when
Highway #2 and Unadilla's Main Street were one and the
same. Can you imagine what that would be like today?
We were so sad to learn that TR Mart will go up for
auction, along with the fixtures and inventory, on
December 6. It was a mainstay in our community and
will be greatly missed.
Four members of the Books & Brew Book Club met
Tuesday morning. The book for this month was
"Good Night June" by Sarah Jio. Perhaps you read
"Good Night Moon" to your children - there is quite a
connection made here! We will meet again on
December 16, and each person is to read a
"Christmas" book. Please join us if you can!
As mentioned last week, 253 votes were cast at
Unadilla. For Board of Trustees, Dan Crownover received
82 votes, Dale Stoner 69 votes, Janet Oelke 72 votes,
with 3 write-in votes.
