Leland & Paula Carmichael report hummingbirds have
been seen. So far, nothing at the Western Wilhelm Outpost.
Warning: the county has changed the speed limit
approaching the bridge on the old highway near
Howard Engelbrecht's to 30 m.p.h.
The Village has passed an ordinance to prohibit
the use of engine brakes on 8-12-2015. To see the

Friday, 8-27-1915, The Otoe Union:
"Henry Hahn who was operated on at the Ramey Hospital
in Lincoln, is getting along fine." Wm. Dean and Ellis West
took a fishing trip "to the Iowa side of the river". Prof. Morris
was the new high school principal. Mrs. Louie Callaway was
attacked in the barnyard by an angry bull. She was
"quite painfully bruised."
