What a busy, busy weekend it was in Unadilla. The rain missed us
for the BBQ, but we got HEAT instead!
The day started out with garage sales and the Unadilla 5K.

early afternoon and adult Bingo sponsored by the Christian

400+ patrons were
served, everyone agreeing the food was deliscious!

MC Bob Brandt (Zahn)
A round robin of 3 girls softball team was held and the evening
wrapped up with the Southeast Nebraska band providing music
and the dedication of the new Walking Path, with
Bob Brandt as Master of Ceremonies.Brandt noted that last year
we dedicated the Unadilla Arboretum and the Walk Path
project was the next natural step to improving the Park.
The Unadilla Area Fund received a matching grant from the
NRD with the Village of Unadilla contributing money also. He
thanked a long list of contributors and encouraged everyone
to take a stroll on the new path, sit on the benches, and take
in the natural beauty.

Friday, 6-30-1916, The Otoe Union:
Marie Finigan & Holly Luff were united in marriage 6-27-1916.
"A large number of our people were in Lincoln Sunday to see
the soldiers." Harvey West was very ill with typhoid fever. Ernest
Stouffer closed the Sanitary Barber Shop and joined barber
T.A. Sugden in Syracuse.
