The Otoe County Genealogical Society met Saturday,
November 18. A short business meeting and election of officers
for 2018 was held. They are: President, Barb Wilhelm, Vice-
President, Carol Gobber, Secretary, Kathy Schroeder, Treasurer,
Linda Parde, and IT, Mary Hanke. It was followed by a wonderful
meal and lots of discussion of the new year, as well as visits
to the History and Veterans Room, and a swing through the
Craft Fair that was being held in the gym. Next meeting will
be in February at the Resource Room.

Thank you to these generous All Fund Drive contributors:

A great crowd attended the Creamed Chicken dinner at the
Methodist Church. The food was great and so was catching
up with old friends. Lord's Acre was held afterwards.

Continued get well wishes to Cindy Leefers Ford who
was in a terrible accident.
Good news for the Unadilla area: you now have another
option for internet service. Future Technologies has
installed their equipment on the Village water tower.
Service available starts at 1.5/384K for $34.99 and goes
up to 15M/2M for $79.99. For more information call the
Village Office at 828-5355.

Here's hoping all your family makes it home for
Thanksgiving safely - have a wonderful time! The day after,
of course, signals the start of the Christmas shopping frenzy.
Please remember to patronize local businesses on Saturday,
November 25, Small Business Saturday.

With the elevator closed down in town now, farmers are
delivering grain elsewhere. This was the scene at Palmyra
late Sunday afternoon.
RECYCLE CENTER
Just a reminder: we do not take wood, furniture, appliances,
pipes or other metal, grass clippings, tree limbs. Just
recyclables - no glass, at the recycle center. You can take
tree limbs to the burn pile; your glass and other things
mentioned you can take to Palmyra on
Saturdays and Sundays. If it won't fit in the bins,
please don't leave it!
