Condolences to the many family and friends of Bob Fey, who grew
up at Unadilla, was an exceptional woodcarver and all around nice
guy. He will be laid to rest in Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra.
Thank you to all the volunteers who put up and took down flags at
the Unadilla Cemetery. Your dedication despite the heat is
awesome! And thanks to Todd Kreiger for mowing and
trimming to perfection!

The classic country band, Three Chords & a Cloud of Dust, with Ninajean
Rohlfs at keyboards, will perform at 12 noon on Saturday, June 23,
at Lincoln's Haymarket location in The Cube. They will be the opening act
of the all-day Veterans' Freedom Music Festival. There is no charge.
This band has thus far raised over $10,000 for veterans' charities.
So come early for the farmers' market and stay to hear the bands!

Friday, 5-31-1918, The Otoe Union:
Paul Davis, 11, son of E.C. Davis, south of Unadilla, died after
having a relapse of the measles. He was laid to rest in Park Hill
Cemetery, Syracuse. "Eat less wheat and do not eat any more
wheat products until the next wheat harvest. This is the urgent
call from the Government to the people."
