Condolences to Lois Ebert and family on the passing
of her grandson, Justin.

Bob Wilhelm would like to remind everyone to stop by the
Bingo stand in the air conditioned Fair Center during the County
Fair next week (July 26-29). The proceeds help fund local youth
programs. And it's always lots of fun! The booth is manned by
members of the American Legion, VFW, and Sons of the American
Legion. Please, show your support!

A big thank you to Dan & Babette McWilliams for an ab
lounger for the Fitness Room and to Tropical Snow for their
donations to the Unadilla Park Fund.
The Unadilla Area Fund met last Tuesday, July 10, at the
Unadilla Library. Those present were Donna Crownover, Sue
Saathoff, Glenda Willnerd, Bob Brandt, Corinne Zahn, and Barb
Wilhelm. The Unadilla BBQ was the main topic of discussion. It
was declared a success! Problems were discussed as well as
what worked. Thanks again to Corinne Zahn for organizing this
huge event. It was suggested that "to go meals" be served out of
the concession stand to make the "wait-in-line" time shorter. The
roaming golf carts and the delivered meals were a big hit, as was
the water slide (as usual!). The next meeting will be held on
Tuesday, October 23, in preparation of the All Fund Drive, which
will kick off in November.
