Tuesday evening, September 25, Kimberly Nieman,
Village Clerk/Treasurer from Pilger, walked the crowd
through the twin tornadoes that hit the town in 2014.

Kim presented wearing the clothing she had on when the
tornadoes hit
Not only did she lose the Village Office, she lost her home.
The Fire House, gas station, and restaurant were also lost,
along with two lives.

Kim's presentation, documented by photos and videos,
took attendees through the entire process from destruction
to cleanup to rebuilding and the paperwork and frustrating
problems that went with it. If you get the chance to view it,
we highly recommend it, especially if you are active in
your community.
