HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
By Bobby "Boris" Pickett
DON'T FORGET TO TURN YOUR CLOCKS BACK
SATURDAY NIGHT!

The Unadilla Area Fund met Tuesday, October 23, to complete
the mailing for the Unadilla All Fund Drive. We are happy to
announce that Chris Sayre, who gave the musical program on
Groundhog Day last year, will join us again in 2019. Also Alan J.
Bartels of Nebraska Life magazine will give a children's program
on his book, "What's Going Down in Prairie Dog Town". The
next meeting will be on December 4, at the Duncan Building,
starting with a meeting at 5:00 and a reception at 5:30. Light
refreshments will be served. Burton Brandt will give us an update
on his Memorial Tree project for his Eagle Scout badge.
We would also be interested in hearing your ideas about new
projects we might consider. Please join us if you can - come
and meet your new nieghbors and some lifelong residents!

Congratulations to Madison Hillman on her confirmation at
Luther Memorial, Sunday, October 28. We are so
proud of you and your journey!

The Fire & Rescue had a good turnout at the Pancake &
Sausage feed Sunday. Bob Wilhelm reports it was awfully
darn good! Thank you everyone for your support.

The Village would like to point out that the last several
weeks, the recycle bins have been overflowing with stuff
the company will not take. THERE'S A SIGN RIGHT THERE
PEOPLE! But let us repeat: Do no leave ANYTHING outside
the containers; we do no take hard plastic kid's toys,
furniture, slides, dead animals, wooden pallets, boxes that
are not broke down, glass bottles, or full bottles of liquid.
If this continues we will be forced to shut it down.

Did you know Nebraska was ranked 7th in sunflower
production in 2017 with 69,090,000 pounds grown? It was
ranked 8th in 2017 for winter wheat production with
46,920,000 bushels harvested. What do you think of our
new slogan: "Nebraska, honestly it's not for everyone."

Don't forget get to vote this coming Tuesday,
November 6.

"FOR SALE: As I am going back to the farm, I will sell my two
Stallions, Bogaria and Gambi of which I purchased from
