Friday, 1-24-1919, The Otoe Union:
"F.W. Yeigh is tearing down his ice house. It looks like Unadilla will be without
ice another year." The Allie Bassett family moved to their new house south of
the tracks. Three hundred Home Guard companies of Nebraska, were mustered
out by retiring Gov. Keith Neville, and were "promptly mustered in again" by the
new Gov. S.R. McKelvie.
