We made our annual trip to SE Nebraska on Sunday, starting with the Brownville Flea Market. It gets bigger every year!
Then we headed to Indian Cave State Park and the scenery, several new bathrooms, and visiting our favorite spot along the river, never fail to disappoint. Such a beautiful place!
We decided to go home by way of Tecumseh and saw this lovely display while driving through Nemaha.
When we got to Tecumseh, we were amazed at all the building going on at the Hwy 50 ˆ intersection. Sometimes you just have to get out of Otoe County!
So sad to report that Arliss Wassenberg has lost her battle with cancer. Her memorial service will be this Friday at the funeral home. Arliss and her husband Rick owned the bar for 18 years. Our condolences to daughter Tara and the rest of the family. Arliss, you will be missed.
Last year we were asking for help identifying who owned a pair of chaps that belonged to a gentleman at Unadilla. We never did find out who the initials stood for, and sadly, we're giving up.
Haven't the nights been cool? It was 51 Sunday morning at 7 a.m.
Continued get well wishes to all those who've been ill. We've heard Covid shots are kind of hard to come by. It's early yet!
This little guy sprouted right next to our porch and probably the last one of the year.
Any empty houses in Unadilla? Have several folks asking.
