using Unadilla as their home field and most of those games are

played on Friday night.

Memorial Day, May 25th a fundraiser lunch was held in the Unadilla Community Center to help support the new history rooms and to give visitors a place to meet and socialize. The event was sponsored by the Unadilla Library and a grant from Thrivent. Approximately 60 people enjoyed the free will offering lunch with donations of $535. A huge thank you to Frank & Joyce Schulze for the donation of sloppy joes, Sharon and Corey for once again having the villages and trains going, Sue and Julia from the library for serving, the town board for taking down and putting away all the chairs and tables, and Barb for setting up the displays. A special thank you to Peggy Leefers for all her work and organization.

The history rooms were open for viewing and the responses were quite positive. This rooms are already proving to be valuable to the community in keeping our local history alive. They can be viewed any time the Village Office is open or on weekends by appointment. Anyone with items to loan or donate, please call Barb Willhelm or the Village office. Thank you again for your generosity.

Did you know if you started using cloth napkins it would keep

500,000+ tons of paper based trash out of landfills each year?

Even considering the cost of laundering those napkins, the

impact on the planet would be huge!
